About the role:
A fantastic opportunity has become available in our Industrial Division at our site based in Pinkenba, QLD. This is a permanent, full-time position working predominantly 8am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will assist with the processing of all incoming/outgoing vehicles for auction and preparing the auction selling area. In addition, this position is responsible for providing attention to detail with the highest level of accuracy, care and quality service to our customers. This position also involves assisting in all aspects of the logistics business.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Accurately booking in of consigned stock in preparation for sale
- Photograph assets including any visible faults in line with company standards
- Complete end of lease vehicle inspections as per customer specific standards
- Assist with auction pad management, vehicle line up, lot stickering etc
- Assisting customers with drop off and collection of goods
- Loading and unloading of stock via forklift
- From time to time assist fellow team members in our passenger/light vehicle and salvage division
About you:
- Any previous experience with loading and unloading and stock maintenance would be advantageous.
- Have a current forklift and driver’s licence.
- Willing to undergo background checks (Police and Work Rights) and a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test) as part of the recruitment process. Please note: we also conduct random drug and alcohol tests onsite.
- Some knowledge or interest in the car insurance industry would be advantageous.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong commitment to Safety.
