The role
As a Software Support Consultant at Cox Automotive, you will be responsible for delivering top-tier technical support to our automotive industry clients who use our software solutions.
You will work closely with clients to troubleshoot issues, offer guidance, and ensure their software systems are operating efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining client satisfaction and helping our clients maximize the value of our software products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone and email assisting with software-related inquiries, issues, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve software-related problems, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams and tracking them to resolution
- Offer training and guidance to clients on the effective use of our software products
- Collaborate with the development and product teams to convey client feedback
- Continuously monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns, ensuring positive customer experience
- Participate in quality assurance testing of new software releases and updates
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar role, especially in software support
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using remote support tools and ticketing systems i.e. Zendesk etc
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of automotive industry processes and software systems will be highly regarded
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred but not essential) or equivalent work experience
